Some of these models include the MT900 GTR and the MT900 GTR XX (pictured above). US-based automaker Mosler has made a name for itself by building reconfigured race cars for street purposes. Those figures translate to a 0-60 mph time of just under three seconds with a quarter-mile time of sub-11 seconds and a top speed of over 200 mph.įor all of that automotive goodness contained in one package, the MT900SP will remain a niche sports car for an exclusive consumer base, all because interested buyers will have to fork over $479,000 for the privilege of owning one. This monstrous powertrain is capable of producing 535 horsepower while mated to a six-speed Getrag transmission. The MT900SP features a composite chassis and plenty of carbon fiber body panels that drastically shaves off some weight on the car, resulting in a car that weighs well under 2,500 lbs or around 1,140 kg.Īll that however still plays a back seat to the unquestioned draw of the MT900SP: the 7.0-liter V8 engine.
